The world which had seemed so inexistent in such a long time had finally begun to feel real again. His back felt a hardness press against it while a force was brushing past his clothes and hair.
Wind... his mind thought
that’s what it's called...wind. There was a tickling against his skin like millions soft blade with a gentle tips that could not cut.
Grass... The world was casting his mind into a somewhat reminiscence. This new feeling had awakened his memories letting knowledge flow into his brain. The constant noise he was hearing within his mind he heard more words.
Owl...rustling leaves...wings of birds...and crickets’ chirps... He laid where he was for some time listening to all around him and feeling the things he had almost forgotten. Warmth of the body kept within his clothes, the coolness of the wind as it floated gently past him, the stirring of the hair upon his scalp, even the beating of his heart which pulsated at seemingly incredibly fast speed perhaps it's just his own sense of time which was now out of track for the time he spent of ages, he now felt was only a day. A feeling of awareness that he could now move his limbs enabled him to twitch his fingers a little, followed by curling of his hands and a slight movement of his toes. Raising a hand he pressed it against his face to feel the texture of what the material was.
After a few more moments of exploring his senses he rose to a sitting position, which soon after he swapped to sitting on his knees, somehow his body remembered his meditating position. This was, as he reminisced further, his favorite position in terms of relaxing. Still yet not opening his eyes he relaxed allowing his mind to remember more details of who and what he was.
Several moments had passed, however it was now daylight. Leon had figured although it seemed not long several hours had gone by as swiftly as minutes would to a being who is used to this slow pace. He had now stood up strait. His surroundings were commonly as he felt were still same. He was somewhere in the woods, near a road for he had heard an occasional roar of some unknown beast and a rush of wind in the distance. ~What could have possibly those beings be? ~ He had thought to himself
He finally had opened his eyes to glance at the meadow in which he stood. The place was as peaceful as before, personally he would have remained there; however, deep down inside he couldn't shake the feeling of a duty he had to perform: several duties actually. His first task lay in the hands of those existing in this seemingly alien realm: the natives of this strange world.
The steps he took were slow and silent, he made a notion of taking a glance at every detail possible while he traveled through the thicket of the forests trees, limbs, sometimes crossing an occasional beast who would try to, as he guessed, eat him. The constant snarling and barring of small but dangerous fangs would always shine that posed a serious threat to those unaware of them; Leon wasn't used to these creatures. Gray fur and yellow eyes would always follow him, but they would bide time before leaping only to be punched or kicked into a nearby tree or a distance back and find themselves in an awkward position of lying on their backs and yelping in pain. Some of them Leon could evade so easily that their fangs would end up finding nothing but air.
Such simple creatures... He had thought to himself.
They are nothing compared to what I was used to... He would look around once more as he continued to think to himself.
What has happened to this world?
